From 11 to 16 December two representatives of the Citizen School for Political Studies in Morocco did a study visit in Bulgaria. The goal was to acquire first-hand experience how the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” trains political and civic leaders. The visit was during the second course of BSoP’s National Program 2014 / 2015 and provided opportunities for the Moroccan experts to observe how the sessions were organized and conducted – as in plenary, as well as in small groups. At the meetings with their Bulgarian colleagues, the Moroccan representatives discussed the results from the training needs analysis of the civic sector and media in Morocco and the matrix, developed by BSoP, of knowledge to be incorporated into the CSPS’s program. Potential topics to be included in the future training modules of the Moroccan school were also outlined.
The visit was within a project for building training capacity of the Citizen School for Political Studies in Morocco and is financially supported by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie.
