Thirty nine participants in the National Program “Governing Skills” of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” received their diplomas at a special graduation ceremony. The event was on 19 December. The diplomas were awarded by the Chair of the Board Sasha Bezuhanova, the Board Member Boriana Dimitrova and the Executive Director Irina Alexieva.

In addressing the newly graduated class, Dr. Irina Alexieva cited Eleanor Roosevelt’s thought that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams, and wished the cohort to follow their dreams. Sasha Bezuhanova appealed to the participants to work in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration. Boriana Dimitrova recalled the thought of the famous German poet Goethe that a man sees in the world what he carries in his heart. She wished the participants to see more things in the world and to never be ashamed of the decisions they take.

The Class 2014 also hosted a special Networking event for the alumni of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza”. The event was on 19 December in Central Park hotel Sofia and  125 people from all School’s cohorts took part in it.

The graduation and the networking event were supported from the Council of Europe.
