Ivan Nachev / Executive Director
Ivan Nachev is a Bulgarian political scientist, an expert on EU political integration. He graduates in Political Science at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and specializes European integration at the Center for European Studies and the Center for European Governance of the University of Nottingham, UK.Since 1993 he has been a lecturer in the Department of Political Science at New Bulgarian University. His interests are in the field of political theory and practice, European integration theories, strategies and policy practices.He has been the director of the only magazine in Bulgaria for political analysis and forecasts “Bulgarian Observer”, editor-in-chief of the magazine „Political Analysis“. He is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Political Science, the European Studies Association (ESCA) and the Europe Team to the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria.Mr. Nachev has many publications in the field of EU political integration, the study of political elites and the development of the creative economies of EU member states, in Bulgarian, English, French and Turkish.

Rumiana Grozeva / Financial Director
Rumiana Grozeva has Master’s degrees in Finance, Philosophy and History from the Sofia University “Sv. Kliment Ohridski” and the University of National and World Economy. Between 1992 and 1999 she worked at the Company clients and credits Department of the Biohim Bank. From 2000 to 2002 Rumiana was an accountant at the Political Academy of Central and South-East Europe. Since 2003 she has been an accountant at the Bulgarian School of Policy.

Velizar Georgiev / Administrative Director
Velizar Georgiev finished high school with intensive learning of French and English in 2007. The same year he enrolled International Economic Relations. After that he graduated in Finance at the University of National and World Economy. Velizar has lots of sports activities and participated in numerous volleyball competitions at national level. He has also taken part in many cultural events in Germany, Turkey, Italy and Austria. He likes traveling and meeting different cultures.

Bilyana Bogoeva / Program Coordinator
Bilyana Bogoeva holds a Masters in Philology with additional qualifications in PR, Marketing and Branding. She has more than 15 years of experience as a journalist in printed and online media. She was the editor-in-chief of the free weekly “Anons”, published by the Belgian media giant Le Grupo Rossel, in the bilingual magazine, presenting the best of Bulgaria – “ChergaBG”, Deputy Editor-in-chief of the online edition front.bg and others.
She thinks her innate curiosity not only takes her to journalism but also moves her forward. “Give me a new project, strangers and stories, a little inspiration, a deadline, and look at my gallop,” Biliana says. In her spare time she travels and meets friends again in search of new knowledge, ideas and inspiration.

Alexander Ilchev / Program Coordinator, Environmental projects
Alexander Ilchev has a Batchelor’s degree in Environmental and Resource Management from the Brandenburg Technical University of Cottbus, Germany and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University in Munich. His professional interests are in the field of sustainable development, energy efficiency and climate change. He speaks English and German.
