In the period 26 – 28 January 2009, a group of experts and representatives of the Bulgarian School of Politics visited Ukraine for the implementation of activities under a joint project between the School and the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Integration, Kiev. The project, sponsored by the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation and the Democracy Grants Program of the US Embassy in Kiev, aims at supporting the efforts for Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration by sharing the experience of Bulgaria.
Within the framework of the visit, a discussion with the participation of experts and journalists was organized to present a book titled Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine: the Way to Democracy,as well as an expert meeting between the Bulgarian and Ukrainian colleagues. The analytical materials were contributed by a bilateral Ukrainian-Bulgarian expert group.
