During 2012 representatives from different classes will continue their work with the children from the Center for Family Type Accommodation in Velingrad. Within the project ”Young Leaders Assisting the Social Integration of Children from Institutions” funded through the Bonita Trust, they will organize an art-studio for making martenitsas and a celebration for the Easter.

At the end of last year, the children made Christmas and New Year Paper Appliqué Cards during their art-therapy sessions. The local hoteliers, who support the idea, agreed to sell the cards at their receptions. The Municipal Councilors also took part in the initiative and during a session of the Municipal Council bought cards made by the children.
Before Christmas students from the Junior Achievement club in Velingrad organized a series of meetings with the children from the Center during which they made Christmas chandeliers together. In front of the Municipality, a Charity bazaar was organized where items made by the children were sold. The event was very successful and raised a big interest.
For five year graduates from different classes of the BSoP have worked with the children from the Center for Family Type Accommodation in Velingrad and supported policies for their social integration. Different organizations at local level, the municipality, business, as well as students from the local schools have also been involved in the process.
