The second course of the National Program “Governing Skills” dedicated to the regional development and local self-government, started today at the Diplomat Plaza Hotel in the city of Lukovit. It will last until 14th December. The Program started with presentations from the participants, who presented measures for a better link between the education and the employment market. They were divided in 4 groups – government officials, the business, student organizations, universities. The group homeworks were presented to a special jury, including the experts Boyan Zahariev, from the Open Society Institute and Mariana Bancheva from the Institute from Progressive Education. The day continued with lectures from the sociologists Antony Galabov and Zhivko Georgiev, who talked about local self-government and how are policies on local level made.
