Accent during the second day of the National Program was the panel “Europe of the Regions”. The day started with a lecture by Yavor Aleksiev from the Institute for Market Economy. He presented the annual research of the organization – “Regional Profiles: Indicators of Development”. After that the executive director of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria – Guinka Chavdarova explained the process of decentralization and the challenges ahead of it. The professor in rhetoric – Ivanka Mavrodieva held a lecture on the topic of ‘Public Communication” and showed the participants effective models of public speaking and gave practical advices on how to write and present a political speech.

Special guest-speaker for the day was Darin Madzharov – founder of the educational platform Ucha.se. During the rubric “30 minutes in the company of…’ he spoke about his personal story and how the idea about the site was born. He stressed on the usefulness of the platform for the children between year 1 and 12 and answered many questions on the motivation and the challenges through which he has gone.
