he fourth course of the National Programme “Governing Skills”, dedicated to European policies and principles of the good governance in the EU, began today at the Diplomat Plaza in Lukovit. The participants presented their measures for judicial reform. They were divided into four groups; they received profiles of four different parties and had to develop ideas to change the judicial system. The group assignments were evaluated by a special jury, which includes Ms. Nelly Kuzkova, Chair of the Communication Commission of the Bulgarian Judges Association, Mr. Viktor Tarchev, Member of the the Association of the Prosecutors Governing Body, and Ms. Bilyana Gyaurova-Wegertseder, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives.
The program continued with the lecture of prof. Ingrid Shikova, who is a lecturer in European studies. She explained the political processes in Europe and the interrelations between the institutions in the Union.
