Representatives from different classes of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” improved their knowledge and skills on how to establish partnerships with media and successfully present them their causes. The training was on 31 October and 13 alumni working on different philanthropic and social initiatives participated in it. The trainer was Maria Cherneva, an experienced journalist from the Bulgarian National Television and an initiator of different campaigns herself.
During the training, the participants were introduced to different types of media and how to chose what media to approach so as to successfully communicate their messages, as well as discussed different ideas how journalists could become their partners for the initiatives. In the afternoon session, the alumni had the opportunity to work on practical case studies for presenting their causes in a TV interview and received valuable feedback and advice how to improve their skills in this direction.
The training “How media can become our partners” was within the project “Inspiring Others, Generating Change and Transforming Society – Philanthropy as a Core Value of the Leaders”, financed by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
