Ms. Denitsa Boeva, Alumna of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza”, presented the final product of of the Summer Academy for Strengthening Democracy in the Euro-Med Region between Bulgaria, Tunisia and Morocco at the World Forum for Democracy, organized by the Council of Europe. The Summer Academy took place in Sofia in June 2015. At the World Forum on Democracy Ms. Boeva participated in a lab dedicated to the migration policies in Europe. She talked about 5 days efforts of the 17 participants from the Summer Academy and presented their analysis of the security situation in the Euro-Med region, the risks facing the region, potentials measures, as well as the vision for the region, if these measures will be implemented. The panel was also attended by Mr. Mr Gert Westerveen, UNHCR Representative to the European Institutions in Strasbourg, Mr Ljubisa Vrencev, Program Director at Symβiosis in Thessaloniki and Ms. Ms Houria ESSLAMI, Member of the National Human Rights Commission and Chair of the National Human Rights Commission Working Group for International Relations in Morocco. The panel was moderated by Dr. Irina Alexieva, Executive director of the Bulgarian School of Politics. A discussant in the lab was Mr. Ahmed Driss, Executive Director of the Tunisian School of Politics.
