Forty participants in the National Program “Governing Skills” of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” received their diplomas at a special graduation ceremony. The event was on 11 December at the American Corner of the Sofia City Library and was hosted by the Executive Director of the School Dr. Irina Alexieva.
In addressing the newly graduated class, Irina Alexieva stressed on the importance of normalizing the understanding for “better” and “worse” in the public and political life in our country. She put the emphasis on the key role of the alumni of the National Program of the School in this and highlighted that as representatives of one community sharing the same understanding of democratic values, they should have the leading role for bringing back ethics in politics.
The Class 2015 also hosted the traditional Christmas party of the alumni of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza”. The party was on 11 December at the restaurant of the Festa hotel and over 120 people from all School’s cohorts celebrated until late at night. For yet another year the alumni showed that they keep good relationships with each other and that they could not only work hard but also celebrate well.
