“Energy in Bulgaria – what is the development strategy?” This was the topic of the panel “Bulgaria’s long-term strategies”, which closed the second course from the National Program “Governing Skills”. The experts on energy – Mr. Valentin Nikolov, vice-chair of the parliamentarian energy committee, Mr. Yavor Kuyumdzhiev, who was vice-chair of the parliamentarian energy committee in the former government, Mr. Ivan Hinovski, chair of the Bulgarian Energy Forum took part in the panel, and Mr. Slavcho Neykov, Chair of the Managing Board of the Institute for Energy Management. During the same panel the group homework, which the participants have to prepare was also presented. They will have to work suggestions on how the energy mix in Bulgaria should look like, and they should pay special attention on the energy safety of Bulgaria.
