The third course of the Program for active civic participation and leadership took place between 11th and 14th of February in Sofia. The course focus was on the advocacy campaigns. Guest lecturers were Dr. Emilia Zankina, lecturer of political science at the American University in Bulgaria, Ms. Daniela Dimitrova, Executive Director of the Association “Pleven Public Fund – Community centres”, the psychologist Mr. Nedelcho Nedelchev, Dr. Angelina Markovska, a political scientist at the Veliko Tarnovo University, and the TV journalist Mr. Boyko Vasilev from the Bulgarian National Television.
The Program participants had lectures and case studies devoted to the negotiations with different stakeholders, advocacy campaigns planning, media campaigns planning etc.
In the program there was a special lecture devoted to the protocol and etiquette delivered by the protocol expert Mr. Anatoly Paziiski.
During the third course of the Program for active civic participation and leadership the participants planned advocacy campaigns for the community problems, posed on the community discussions.
