The Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” and the “Environmental Partnership” Foundation organized a round table on prevention and response to natural disasters on 03/11/2016 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Sofia. It was attended by mayors and councilors from all parts of the country, representatives of the National Association of Municipalities, the Association of Cities and Regions, representatives of Chief Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection”, NGOs, academics. The event is part of the project “Collaborative Action for Enhancing Public Awarenes and Motivating Local Governments and Communities for Response and Adaptation to Climate Change” financed by the NGO Programme under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
