The fourth course of the National Program “Governing Skills” dedicated to the European policies, started today at the RIU Hotel in the city of Pravets. It will last until 20th March. The Program started with presentations from the participants, who presented measures for a better link between the education and the labour market. They were divided in 4 groups – government officials, the business, student organizations, universities. The group homeworks were presented to a special jury, including the Chair of the Parliament Education Committee Ms. Milena Damyanova, Mr. Boyan Zahariev, Program Director at Open Society Institute – Sofia and Ms. Gergana Rakovska, Executive Director of the “Business for education” foundation. The day continued with lecture on topic “Solidarity in crisis or crisis of solidarity – is the EU able to find a common solution in crisis situations?” delivered by Ms. Vessela Cherneva, Senior Director for Programmes and acting Head of ECFR Sofia Office. The day ended with the panel “30 minutes with”. Special guest lecturer in the panel was Mr. Kristian Vigenin, OSSE Parliament Assembly`s Special Representative on the South Caucasus.
