The Executive Director of the Bulgarian School of Politics, Irina Alexieva, accepted the challenge, and she was appointed as an adviser to the Bulgarian EU Commissioner in Brussels since early October.
“I agreed to become adviser to the EU Commissioner Mariya Gabriel. Next months will be extremely important for Bulgaria, and I think that each of us has to help with whatever we can,” Mrs. Alexieva wrote to the 600 graduates of the school. She added that in the time she is absent, the Bulgarian School of Politics remains in the good hands of long-time employees of the organization.
“I count on your support for the cause and the mission of the Bulgarian School of Politics and the team that works for you,” concluded Irina Alexieva.
