The Bulgarian MEPs Mr. Vladimir Urutchev and Mr. Momchil Nekov were special guest lecturers and master of ateliers in the National Program of the Bulgarian School of Politics. On the first day of the fourth course they introduced the trainees to the work of the European Parliament, the complex system for making European policies and the differences with the Bulgarian Parliament.
The two European parliamentarians stressed on the diversity in the Parliament of Europe, which calls for seeking a compromise.
Later Mr. Vladimir Urutchev and Mr. Momchil Nekov presented to the participants in the program one of their priorities, on which they actively work in the European Parliament. The theme of the MEP of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, Mr. Momchil Nekov, was: “Quality term” mountain product “- is there any ground for implementation in Bulgaria?”. Mr. Vladimir Urutchev of the Group of the European People’s Party focused his speech on legislation, myths and reality on the transition to low-carbon energy.
