In an unusual atmosphere, but with the usual enthusiasm Class 2021 of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” began its training on October 25. Member of the European Parliament, MPs, Deputy Regional Governor, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Municipal Councilors, representatives of the state and municipal administration, people from non-governmental organizations and business, judge, university lecturer, etc. are among the 41 participants selected for the National Program “Governing Skills” 2020-2021. Hotel “Riu” – Pravets brought together representatives of six political parties, civic and professional leaders for their first four-day training. The start of the first course of the National Program was given with a panel for leadership and strategic decision making. Vladimir Borachev, a lecturer in the master’s program for executive staff at the American University from 2010 to 2017 and a certified coach, talked to the trainees about leadership, strategic thinking, and the decision-making cycle.

“A leader is as strong as his team,” Vladimir Borachev told the trainees, adding that successful leaders develop successful leaders who develop successful leaders.

The first day of the first course of the National Program “Governing Skills” continued with various games for getting to know each other and team building.
